Q. When will I be placed in a group?

We will be sending out a Google form where you can indicate if you want to be placed in a group to meet weekly + your preferences for group members if you have them.

Q. Who is in my group?

We will be sending out a Google form where you can indicate if you want to be placed in a group to meet weekly + your preferences for group members if you have them.

Q. What if I don’t want to be in a group?

If you don’t want to be placed in a group but you still want to be part of Product Classroom and work on our assignments in your own time/schedule, that’s okay too! You don’t need to fill out the form.

Q. What should I refer to myself as?

You will be a product classmate of the year you participated (ie. fall 2020). Since we are not application based + not a full fellowship, we would prefer if students didn’t use the term fellow.

Q. When/where will recordings be posted?

We’ll upload them at the end of the week and they’ll all be located in your designated Google drive folder.

Q. What tools will we be using?

We will mainly be using Figma for design exercises, ideation and execution. If you currently don’t have Figma, don’t worry! It will be free for students and classmates during the 10 weeks of our program.

Q. Difference between Cohort and Asynchronous Student?

Cohort Students are commited to learning UX design and are available on Saturdays 6-8PM EST for the duration of the session. They can attend lectures live and ask questions to speakers.

Q. If I don’t get accepted as a cohort student can I be still be an asynchronous student?

Yes! Students who do not make it into the cohort will automatically be subscribed to our newsletter and become an asynchronous student. We will send out a confirmation email.

Q. I am interested in learning on my own. Can I get access to the course materials?

If you prefer to learn on your own subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates on our course material and curriculum.
